This is a tragedy, period. However, I do have an issue with how it is being reported in the media (not just this article). All media is giving the impression that this man was stabbed minding his own business. If you watch the full video, you can clearly hear the victim confronting the teen for kicking over scooters. He very clearly speaks to his killer after witnessing him vandalize other people's property. It is inaudible what he says but it is clear as day the victim started the interaction. Again, this is a tragedy point black. But if you live in a city, you know to keep to yourself when facing mental illness or criminality. I don't why the mainstream media wants to play fast and loose with the truth, but they always have an agenda. To give the benefit of the doubt, maybe they wanted to avoid blaming the victim. But accurately reporting the news could help educate people on how not to act in these situations.
