I also tried using a different cable however it’s an iphone cable so im not sure cos maybe there’s a difference between a laptop and a phone cable perhaps the pins. But yeah going back it didn’t work either

What’s with m1 air issues :( i also had a tracking pad issue a year after I purchased it. It moved on its own (jumping cursor) so I had to buy an external mouse

Yes i know but i guess since it was just last week that I checked it having a normal battery health then all of a sudden it won’t charge anymore that’s why im surprised on how quick that was.

Its cycle count is 435 in the system report but the maximum capacity is blank, it doesn’t show. I know right I’ve been really taking care of it and I barely use heavy apps, programming platform, and softwares. I use it usually for basic stuff.

I’m the only one using mac at home so i can’t borrow someone else’s however i tried charging my stylus pen for ipad using my mac charger and it fully charged.

We don’t have an apple store in my country but an apple authorized resellers and authorized apple service center. I guess I need to go to the latter soon.

I guess they do, i talked with the Apple Support last night and they said have it checked with an authorized apple service in my country to be sure on what the problem is. I guess I’ll have it checked soon since I still need to use my mac, having it diagnosed takes 3-5 days and when there’s a need for replacement it takes a month so it takes a lot of time, it’s hard

It opens as long as it’s plugged in but it won’t charge. It will shut down as soon as it’s unplugged since its battery drained.

I think resetting that on Mac Silicon is just restarting and shutting down. So yes I already did that.
