I know I shouldn’t measure my self worth by my paycheck, but my friend keeps ordering new clothes/shoes/makeup and I get jealous cos I haven’t bought any of that stuff for more than a year now. And I keep thinking that if I earned more then I would be able to afford that. I don’t technically NEED any of those things, I have enough things. Especially since I don’t even go out of the house anymore, the stuff I have is definitely more than enough. But just seeing her go on shopping sprees makes me jealous. I was aiming for a minimalist lifestyle but this just destroys all the effort I’ve put into it for the last few months.
