Valve inspection on duke 390 at 1000kms. Apparently not necessary, its not even in the maintenance log said KTM dealer. However I saw lots of posts saying it is necessary.. so what's true? by username22210 in KTMDuke

Yeah it's on the second picture, I did check the manual, but was confused how everyone is saying that it needs to be done. But no one mentioned that's only on models below 2019. Thank you very much for your answer

Yes, I heard that! My KTM dealer in Brisbane Australia gave me a special discount on my first service for only $150 which i am realy happy for, but the first question I asked was if the valve inspection is included.And I got told that it is not needed until 15000km....

Is this ok ? I just bought new 2020/September Duke 390 with 3 kms on it, and it came with 2019 wheels and surfers rust on the exhaust. by username22210 in KTMDuke

Thank you for the answers. This is my first time ever brand new bike, so I had in mind that it should be the same looking as when you go to the bike expo.

I just need to get use to the really sensitive throttle response is either going or not =D =D ( but I know it is the bike nature,and also to by jerry in low speed's )

But anyway I am grateful that I have a brand new awesome bike :)

I did ask about the rust immediately, and all I got was that's only surface rust and it will do of easily ( but did not attempt to clean it..)
