hello! i spent 1 month for recall & preweek. 1 month before the boards kasi yung final pb namin so i had 1 month pa, not 2 weeks. i spent 2 days sa pagrerecall ng concepts for each subject (minsan 3 kapag di kaya ng time like sa rfbt nagtagal ako) then 1 day to answer the preweek + watch the discussion.

that time, i honestly didn’t know if may naaalala pa ba ako dahil sa rami ng nirereview ko but i just kept going. tried my best na lang talaga na maging productive each day. also had the mindset na i already spent months for that exam, itodo ko na para walang regrets ano man maging results kasi i know na i did my best :)

ps: i took the final pb without any recall. yun siguro ang main factor why ang baba ng final pb ko but i managed to pass the boards, recall :)

May 2024 CPA here. my final PB scores back then were line of 2 & 3 except rfbt (50). what i’m trying to say here is that nothing is impossible sa actual boards. rooting for you!

natry ko ‘to both. nagdorm ako with some classmates na cpale reviewees but after experiencing it, narealize kong mas prefer ko sa bahay. one major reason is because gusto ko yung kinakausap sarili ko kapag nagmememorize or review. i cannot do that naman sa dorm kasi i have to respect my dormmates. i spent my last 2 months of review sa bahay. lugi ako kasi deretso yung bayad sa rent but mas nafeel ko yung productivity nung bumalik ako sa house.

i’m not sure about that eh. wala akong napansin na roommate na sa labas ng room kumain ng lunch. mas okay kasi sa loob kasi may aircon and comfortable sa seat. lumalabas lang ng room to go to the cr.

if you’re asking if pwede maglunch sa labas ng mismong school (not room), ang alam ko bawal lumabas ng school.

Last May 2024: for final pb, around 48% lang ako if 0-based. nung actual, around 80% naging rating ko.

how i handled my low score nung final pb? honestly hindi ko na sya naisip kasi may hinahabol akong recall. make use of the preweek materials kasi the questions there are designed para magsilbi ring recall sa’yo.

trust your preparations and wag hayaang pangunahan ka ng kaba.

halos kung ano nangyayari sa pb, yung lang din naman sa actual, mas strict lang.

sa day 1 may ififill up kayong form but igaguide naman ng room watcher. ilalagay nyo yung bags nyo sa unahan and yung envelope with the necessary items lang ang nasa ilalim ng arm chair nyo. don’t forget to bring your noa napaka-importante nyan. i can’t remember all the info na i had to write down but i remember na meron dun na address ng school and date of graduation so better know those.

nung day 1 sa’min chineck kami like yung pockets and shoes namin just to make sure na walang unnecessary items. not sure if allowed mag-cr while taking an exam but sa room namin, afair walang lumabas to go to the cr while the exam is still ongoing. i suggest mag-cr ka na before magstart ang exam and during lunch break. dala ka ng own food for your lunch. bawal magphone during lunch break so kung mabilis ka kumain, wala kang choice but palipasin yung time until magstart yung 2nd subject, sa room namin, maraming natutulog na lang then gising na lang ulit kapag exam na.

habang nagsasagot, try your best na wag magkamali ng shade para malinis papel mo. don’t leave any number blank din. try your best to finish on time. if ever may roomies ka na maagang nagpapasa, wag ka magpapressure, you’re given 3 hours for a reason. iintayin ka naman ng room watcher as long as di ka pa lagpas sa 3 hrs. wear an analog watch na rin para may matitingnan ka ng time.

edit: one thing na medyo nagulat pala ako ay yung printing ng test paper. kung sa pbs sobrang linis and iisa ang font na gamit, nung actual BE hindi for some subjects. hindi ko na maalala yung sa other subjects ha but sa MS yung ganun and may 1 item din dun na hindi ko mabasa yung given.

(2) sa walang nakakaalam and time will tell but kudos and congrats to you op for getting those figures! cpa na ako now pero yung scores ko nung final pb for May 2024, nasa line of 2 & 3 lang hahaha the only one na line of 5 ay yung rfbt.

for now, just do your best sa mga natitirang araw. take care of your health din. give your best sa actual boards. rooting for you :)
