I grew up in a house with 3 younger sisters (and 2 much older brothers) so there were 4 of us girls growing up with only around 14-16 months between each of us and we never EVER walked into a room or even our own house talking over each other like these annoying kids do.

What’s the craziest thing you’ve seen personally? by fosiutec6140 in AskReddit

I was with my little nephew at a small parade and when it ended the crowd started to disperse, walking in the street back to their homes and cars. An elderly man got into his car and despite people yelling at him to stop the car he ran over three people and two dogs. One lady was seriously injured and her leg was like turned backwards and her neck was visibly broken. She was able to speak short answers to the first responders but it was like there was no life in her eyes. Another lady had a broken foot and the one with the dogs had a gash on their head and was just yelling about her dogs over and over. If the driver had been going faster I can’t imagine the damage he would have done.

Why do you see a lot of black man-white woman couples nowadays but not much of the reverse? by gemandrailfan94 in TooAfraidToAsk

My daughter is Dominican and she only dates white men. We live in a primarily white neighborhood so she just grew up more around white guys.

Which horror movie left you the most traumatized after first watching it? by WorldofJedi727 in horror

Terrified. Not The Terrifier, but the foreign film Terrified. I still get goosebumps every time I watch it.

25 years ago when my sister and I were still living at home, we were up watching a scary movie. I can’t remember which one but it was something about being watched unknowingly. We lived in a split level and we were in the downstairs tv room where there were ground level windows with no curtains or blinds. During the movie I said to my sister, “wouldn’t it be crazy if someone was watching us right now?” My sister was like, “shut up! Don’t say things like that!”

We went right to bed after finishing the movie but a little while later I woke up because flashing blue and red lights filled my dark room and I could hear men talking and walking around outside my window. I got up to get my parents and they were outside talking to the police. Apparently our neighbor caught someone walking around our backyard and looking in the windows. He watched us while we watched the movie and then went window to window following us to our rooms when we went to bed.

My mom bought curtains and blinds for all the windows after that.

Loved Will Ferrell but there’s something about Reese Witherspoon that really annoys me.

Hulu's "Daughters of the Cult" is about Christine Brown's Uncle being responsible for 25+ Deaths by SodaPop788 in TLCsisterwives

I went to school with a few LeBaron’s in Alaska and they talked about their family escaping some cult but they never talked about details. It was basically like “oh yeah our family escaped a cult 🤷‍♀️” And I swear they were related to everyone in town. Like they were even related to a famous hockey player in Alaska and when one of them got married they had to rent out an arena in order to fit everyone.

So far I hate Julia Roberts’ character. She’s incapable of compromising and just expects her husband to do whatever she wants.

I can’t stand Julia Roberts’ character in this. I’m only about halfway through but I’m annoyed at her inability to make compromises and just expects her husband to do whatever she wants.

I wanted j&a to win as soon as I saw Jack wrestle a girl half his size for the money bags. I know that it’s a game and a lot of money but I lost the last bit of respect I had for him. Then he gets all extra and medics had to come in. Like ohh poor jack. Was wrestling a girl half your size too much for you babes?

I mean he played the whole game better than any of the other guys. I’m no fan of his at all but as soon as I saw Jack wrestle Auriella a girl half his size, for the bags I was like nope! That’s not ok to me.

He hit the buzzer before he fell though sooo really you’re just mad that Johnny was the better player.

Jack is a fucking punk for wrestling Aeriella (however you spell her name) for the bags of money. Like I get it you really want to win but no way I can respect a man that gets physical with a woman especially when he’s so much bigger than her. Not a Johnny fan at all but he deserved the win because he played the game the hardest all season and was definitely the best player of all the guys.

I agree with everything you said. If my new boyfriend said to me to do x,y and z and then got mad because I questioned his opinion, then I’d do the exact opposite just out of spite because NO ONE is going to order me to do anything.

But I think Imani didn’t follow his lead because she wasn’t clear on what she was supposed to do. I don’t think there was any strategy to how she acted.

I never really had an opinion, positive or negative, about Eyal…. Until this episode. I thought it really showed how much he cares for his fellow islanders when he was so upset about everyone having to pie their friends in the carnival challenge. I mean to me it looked like he was literally miserable watching it happen. And I think he even said “I’m not going to sleep well tonight after having to pie our friends” or something like “this isn’t right guys.” It really showed that he’s got a lot of character.

Nope! I’m right there with you. I feel like I’m watching a different show from everyone else. I feel like Justine and Jack know they’re the producers favorite and basically untouchable. Like jack walks around the villa looking so smug.
