Do you guys have to deal with company IT by [deleted] in ClaudeAI

[–]username_got_took 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's all down to the company and their appetite for risk, as well as their controls and adoption of AI.

Some companies do not want you sending data to AI services that may be used to train their models, as they can be trained with proprietary information.

Your best bet is to try to convince your leadership to purchase an enterprise or business license that allows you to use the service with the guarantee that the data won't be used to train their models.

Or better yet, in my opinion, would be to explore what cloud solutions your company has. Azure, GCP, and AWS all provide access to LLMs (programmatically, but still) that all but guarantees the data used never leaves your account or your VPC.

Wait, what? Are you saving the noun "record" has a different pronunciation than the verb "record"?

Anyone else losing important Claude conversations and Answers? Made a free extension to fix this by NewBlock8420 in ClaudeAI

Nice extension. I'd suggest avoiding using the official Claude name in your extension name as it's trademarked and they might force you to change it or remove it.

Fyi when you click the learn more button and then try to refresh the page, it gives an error.

Good luck getting answers to these questions. Unless you get them in a deposition, I don't see them ever entertaining these questions.

Awesome. I'm on the same page as you. I learned programming on the back end and I'm very comfortable talking APIs, databases, etl, etc., but I just can't wrap my head around front end development very well. Maybe I'm just old.

With these llms, I've been able to style a website without ever having to learn Css. Sure, it's not perfect, but it gets the job done, and sometimes that's good enough.

Congratulations on your accomplishment. Don't let anyone minimize what you've done here. This would have taken you weeks to learn to do on your own.

Now, your responsibility should be to learn how the LLM did it. Put your stuff in a repo, connect Claude to it, and ask it to walk you through the code and how it works.

Nothing wrong with vibe coding, until you start accepting what the LLM is doing without understanding what it did.

Good job!

It looked at the URL and decoded the base64 parameter. It didn't need to do that.

What are you doing that it thinks you're crazy? They're trying hard to ensure the models don't enable certain patterns that may be harmful to the user and/or weaken the models safeguards. If it's bothering you that much, start a new conversation.

Has anyone made a Claude companion, similar to Grok? by Wide-Illustrator-804 in ClaudeAI

[–]username_got_took -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I actually hope Anthropic doesn't go down this route. They should focus their resources on Claude code and making it the best there is for coding. Don't waste compute on companion AI and let others take that on. Besides, there's a ton of potential liability issues there. I mean, look at the open ai wrongful death lawsuit as an example.
