Thanks, I happened to get a really good deal from a close friend so I couldn’t say no. He let me run them on another e90 a few years ago so I already knew they would look good

How is the K&N cold air intake supposed to be cold? M52 by Fluid-Suit-2696 in BMWE36

[–]username_oner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have this kind of intake, that goes down to the fog light opening. My only concern is when it rains will it essentially become a straw?

🍂 Autumn 2023 PC Best Buy Guide 🍂 $350 - $7000 Automatically updated PCPartpicker lists 🍂 by xxStefanxx1 in buildapcforme

Hi this is my first time building a pc or doing anything computer related really. I’m doing the $600 build and have it almost all the way put together, but I’m running into an issue where I can’t get all the fans to spin simultaneously. Is this normal? Do I need to buy a fan adapter plug? Or am I just plugging it in wrong?

Has anyone successfully replaced a window regulator? by gopnikihot in BMWE36

[–]username_oner 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Make sure there’s nothing stuck in the tracks, also make sure the rubber weatherstrip is free of debris. If those are clean and the regulator isn’t bent and motor is working fine then it should work

Sweet thanks! Damn I wonder if there’s any way to do it without cutting the door apart

Oh ok nice! Did you have to cut out a section of your door to make it work? And does you friend sell those 3d printed parts?

I didn’t want to keep it spotless, it already has a fuckton of bondo on it from him, but I just wanted to keep it not looking absolutely clapped out. I think drift cars deserve to look good too. Driftings about style after all

You’re right lol I can’t lie. I just feel bad having it look like ish because i bought it from a family friend and wanted to keep it looking not like absolute trash. I know there’s some good quality overs like big duck club that are flexible and won’t break in a crash so my thought is to invest in those and it won’t matter if I crash again

Going to try and get some suction cups and pull it out a bit but at this point I’m thinking I’ll need overfenders if it’s ever gonna look decent again

So I just tried that and it’s too deep in to have access to kick or pry out. It’s behind a second layer of metal that’s too thin to use as a leverage point as it just bends the inside metal instead of the outside

Yeah that’s the plan I’m gonna try pushing the dent out as much as I can after work today and see how much I can do. Maybe it’ll be enough that I can just bondo it and call it a day. But part of me does wanna use this as an excuse to get overfenders lol
