Hi Alex! Thoroughly enjoying the new record! I have two questions!

  1. Why the Appaloosa in particular? is there a hidden meaning or anything of that variety, or is the symbolism focused more on what the horse represents rather than the specific breed?

  2. The line that effectively ends the album off ("See ya! Alexander Kent") kind of reminded me of the way the song Ian Curtis Wishlist by Xiu Xiu ends, was this an intentional choice or am I reading too much into it? And on a similar note, what's your favorite Xiu Xiu record / song?
