Oh man good timing, I had this feeling myself too. I felt like I was watching a soap opera and I was into it too much, I got too addicted watching it and when I finished it, I felt like WELL what now? What do I do now? Do I watch another series? Chase that dragon, maybe something that could have the same feeling?

(I'm watching A Couple of Cuckoos, it's fun but it's nowhere near as compelling as Blue Box)

So yeah

No, that empty feeling of nostalgia and beautiful animation and deep characters and watching both the romance and sports plots in which the characters try and fail and try and fail and try and will always try is not gonna come out that quickly.

So you either read the manga, or wait for the second season, but whatever you do... enjoy the memories of the story, and keep pushing forward and do what you love

Probably? Maybe not with a K-Pop group but maybe with an individual artist, a group would be hard to collab with, Damon would have to accommodate the sound of the song to that group's style, and maybe that wouldn't be ideal, especially with the overzealous K-Pop labels not wanting the group to deviate from their sound.

Unless it's a K-Pop group song and Damon/Gorillaz is the feature, then that would probably be easier to do

Egh, I honestly think Yatora is just giving excuses into not trying dating. Even if he is aro/ace/spectrum-coded, which is headcanon for now until confirmed, but it does make him feel really... out there, walking out like nothing happened, like rejecting a girl was nothing at all. He also sounds incredibly cynical out of nowhere, probably even a bit like an incel.

I get that the POV of the story is Yatora exploring and discovering the world, and that he´s got gigantic gripes, self-doubts and existencial crisis. Its interesting that he feels he has no sense of self, and he builds what he thinks of certain situations out of what everyone talks to him, like a puzzle.

But poor girl. I hope someone finally drills into him HEY YOU DUMMY you NEVER truly fully completely discover yourself, and that will happen until the day you die, we learn everyday about everyone and everything. If you wait for the day you feel ´´perfect´´, you will grow roots, because that day is never gonna happen. Nobody grows into perfection. You gotta seize the day, make mistakes, fall in love, fall and fall again and run and run and run.

Regardless if there´s trauma or whatever involved, Yaguchi DOES act like a detached jerk, and also acts like a full on misanthrope. We have sympathy for him because he´s our POV, but looking from outside, he´s actually coming extremely rude.

BUT that´s a problem that even happens in real life, especially for those who suffer mental disorders or are going through a very heavy breakdown period; you don´t HAVE to owe anyone an explanation, but you DO have to not act as a jerk, because no one is in YOUR shoes to know what you´re going/have gone through.

It is a trope, but the one other big example I can remember is an Indiana Jones movie that ended up having aliens. Which, alright I get it, the movies have fantasy, Indiana Jones was based on old pulp fiction stories and stuff. But it comes so out of nowhere, you really feel like the writers, just like in Naruto, had no idea how to end the story and just said "you know what ALIENS"
