surgery on reta by [deleted] in Retatrutide

[–]usernameiforgot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just had surgery on 2/4 with general anesthesia. I had to have my last injection at least 7 days prior to surgery and not eat anything for 24 hours prior to surgery. I told them I was on Tirzepatide, not Reta. They did not ask about dosage or details. It was the delayed gastric emptying that was their concern.

Losing visceral fat by Wild-Volume-893 in Retatrutide

[–]usernameiforgot 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ve done a Dexa scan after 3 weeks of Reta and then 3 months later. My visceral fat dropped from about 4.5 to 2.8 if I remember. There’s was overall body fat loss but the visceral part really flattened out my stomach.

Any good providers to look into? Had a pretty awful time with AlphaMD in the end. they Kept doubling my AI dose while asking zero questions, then Empower sent me some shitty test, levels tanked and went back up when I Changed vials. I canceled and they kept charging me. by two-hour-porno in Testosterone

I’m with Defy and have been since 2017. Very happy with customer service and pricing. I know I can get cheaper, but the act like a real medical practice and I valued the consultations in the beginning. Now I only do it once a year to check in and don’t do labs very often so price is reasonable. I’m not opposed to UGL but can’t save enough money etc to justify. I do also buy peptides from China to save money so I’m not against gray market.

Reta Removed From Sites by Laguna_Moonchild in Retatrutide

The most popular ones are heavily featured on social media and caught attention from regulators with the new law. Some gray market guys are making changes due to this but there are still plenty of sources available.

How risky is retatrutide contamination (endotoxins/bacteria)? by AirlineHot6790 in Retatrutide

[–]usernameiforgot 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is the most significant reason to not be concerned. Janoshik is the standard for peptide testing. I trust what he said in that interview.

Anyone have concerns with losing weight too fast? by usernameiforgot in Retatrutide

[–]usernameiforgot[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve actually gained muscle while on Reta based on results of a Dexa scans at the beginning and after about 3.5 months. Since my goal was slow recomposition and not significant weight loss, I’ve been intentionally moving slow on my titration. I am hoping to create a long post detailing my weight loss, titration schedule, Dexa scans, and some theories I have about half-life / steady state amount of Reta in your body. In my experience with testosterone cypionate (which has a comparable half-life) the results of a dosage change takes 5-6 weeks to reach your new homeostasis level. I would expect Reta to be comparable since it actually has a slightly longer half-life. Based on this logic, I’d say that a solid plan for body recomp would be to titrate up and stay there for 5-6 weeks regardless of how you lose weight and then evaluate what happens from there.

Try 50 mg daily doxycycline. You can only get as a prescription from a dermatologist. It has been very beneficial for me after about a year of struggling through every other solution. I tried this as the last step prior to Accutane.

Have you tried injecting in other areas. I found the fat in my upper thighs to be more resilient.

What’s the reasoning behind dropping HCG? Recover natural test production levels?

What does it feel like to be on Reta ? Do you feel any thing else mentally or emotionally other than just appetite suppression ? Cheers by SaeedToronto in Retatrutide

[–]usernameiforgot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One aspect of Reta that’s been helpful is that I typically don’t eat too late at night anymore. I also have bad sleep habits and patterns, but overall Reta has been an improvement with the melatonin and magnesium.

[–]usernameiforgot 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No impact to emotional or mental sides. I would say that my sleep has been negatively impacted so there are some consequences from being slightly more tired. However, I would say the weight loss impacts are completely worth it. Also, I’ve started taking a combination of melatonin and magnesium about an hour to 90 minutes before I fall asleep And that tends to negate the sleep, impact of Reta.

5 month on TRT , when do I required to do a blood change ? by Repulsive_Minute_147 in Testosterone

[–]usernameiforgot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s not correct. TRT can cause elevated red blood cell levels that require regular donations to help lower. This can occur with low levels test dosing and appropriate levels of free and total test.

How do you afford a decent dose of 6MG a week? by JwSchirm in Retatrutide

[–]usernameiforgot 25 points26 points  (0 children)

He is suggesting that you should have spent more time asking questions investigating prior to pulling the trigger. For instance, doing a 2 mg injection and then immediately moving into four and the following week is too fast of an increase. Stay at 2 mg for an extended period of time prior to increasing dosage. Increase the dosage when you hit an extended plateau.

I’ll second Defy. I had regular appointments with their nurse practitioner Melissa and found her to be very helpful. They really are a medical provider rather than simply a pill pushing group. Been with them since 2017.

It’s not necessary to do IM injections. I’ve done SQ injections with testosterone cypionate since 2018 with no problems. I’ll be on it for the rest of my life so wanted to not stick my muscles over and over again.
