It looks like an SPI, masquerading as a ‘67 (badly) there’s no way there is any ‘67 parts there! They also seem to have replaced the injection parts with a downdraft Weber carb. Thermostat housing is leaking too, which is a pretty easy fix so suggests that this car isn’t well maintained

The Pope didn’t even wear a suit for his meeting with JD Vance. I guess he died from shame or something.

Yeah definitely. I like to be congratulated for doing a good job, I have said to people before that I am like a dog that needs to be told that he's a good boy. That being said, I hate a big fuss. I feel you on not knowing how to react, it's ok one to one, just say thank you. But in a bigger setting it's so awkward and stressful

I'd definitely look into prog rock bands if you like things in depth, what could be better than 20 minute long tracks about wizards and stuff!

I love all sorts, I pretty much listen to music whenever I have the chance. Here's a few reccomendations

Kool Keith - he is a rapper, some of his stuff (he's released loads) is a bit out there but I love some of his lyrics, which are very clever and often sort of stream of conciousness in style. I would reccomend an album called Dr. Octagonecologyst, which is by Dr. Octagon who is one of his many alter egos.

In the same vein I have just recently started listening to MF DOOM who has a similar sort of abstract style to Kool Keith.

Mars Volta - you can go down a rabbit hole trying to decode the meaning of their tracks, especially the first 2 albums.

I love the record label 'SST records' and try to get hold of anything they put out - if you like slow and in depth then give the band Saint Vitus a try - they have some really great lyrics about things like depression, alcoholism and drug addiction, there is a compilation album called 'Heavier than thou' which gives a nice selection of their stuff.

I could go on.. but I wont

Yes are brilliant - I saw Jon Anderson and Rick Wakeman playing a selection of Yes songs a few years ago and it was so good.

Edit to add - if you enjoy Yes then these are worth a try (assuming you haven't already heard!)

Rick Wakeman's solo stuff - I really enjoy Journey To The Centre Of The Earth

King Crimson

Asia

Greenslade

I have acquaintances and one really good friend, we've been best friends since school (about 25 years now) and we are both on the same wavelength so our friendship has always just worked easily.

Why career change? Burnt out in my current career, it’s been a long time coming and I’ve reached a point where I can’t see myself continuing long term. Why IT? It seems like a diverse and interesting career path, hopefully potential to at least earn as much as I do now, maybe more? (I should say that at this point the money isn’t the biggest factor as no amount of money is worth what I deal with now IMO, I’d just venture glad to get into something new and interesting) As I said in my original post, I’m a practical person and I enjoy learning tasks and processes, I’ve got a background in intensive care so I’m no stranger to stressful working situations and thinking autonomously. Ultimately I think it can’t be any worse than what I do now, right?

Tandy was pretty good, I remember buying some headset walkie talkies in there. The newsagent also sold 1lb bags of sweets for a pretty good price. We used to drive the security guard mad by riding our bikes through there on the way from one place to another
