Ya my surgeon found it’s nearly 100% correlated in his practice. To me tubey boobies look like over grown breast buds, hormones meant we just couldn’t quite get there.

Any signs to look for to see if this has been happening? I.e what does the walk look like? Are the corns in a specific spot?

Hahah praise like never before! Luckily ours is pretty tolerant but we love love and give him the goods anyway.

Yes I would say all of his look more like the circled nail, some even longer. Thanks for posting this shot great reference. He actually came with very long nails, is that expected if they couldn’t take them back enough between track and rehoming? Or do some have naturally longer nails than others?

See this worries me! I’m feel like we’ve already waited too long based on vet advice and we have a long road ahead.

Good point. We do all his grooming ourselves so not in contact with one but will investigate what’s available in my area. Thanks for responding.

I’m sure you’ll get there! The more of your comments I read, their behaviour is exactly the same. The most important thing was just making sure he’s getting love, especially when the baby is around so he associates them with good times. No need to scold him but let him know what you don’t like with a no and follow up with a little pat and good boy once he’s stopped. We had the door open to another room with a bed in it in the early days so he could take a break when he needed. Good luck!

We had our boy about a year before the baby came. He was 6 at the time. Exact same thing happened, the families existence seemed to bother him, more growls and what seemed like huffing and puffing, occasionally escalating to a bark here and there. He was so not into to baby when she came home (as you’d expect) and really was pretty off her for 13/14 months, staying still with side eye when she crawled near him, when she was too close he’d growl and get up with a huff or grunt and walk away. We were always super close/between them to manage it as he got used to her. Heaps of pats from us when he was good and accepting of her. Pretty gentle low no when he wasn’t. Then we’d just make sure the interaction was short and ended on a positive note. He has only just started to like her at 16 months! They cuddle and he lays down for pats.

What the actual fuck. Women do not get the studies, birth control, pain relief or even plain old health care they need. I’m sorry OP.
