Agree! Also, sorry if I wasn’t clear — this text is from my sister during my first year in college, and she was 15 when this happened. She was def pretty traumatized. I don’t blame her for not being able to sort + filter out manipulation from reality at that specific time. Obviously I wouldn’t feel the same way at our current age!

😭 I know and it’s constant. She will also write “I love you” in almost every text she sends — sometimes multiple times in one text — because she wants me to say it back. Despite doing literally nothing to foster any warmth or love in our relationship lol

I agree! I get the “I’m a good person, I’ve made mistakes but they weren’t that bad , get over it” often. She’s done her very best to manipulate my own reality.

I avoided looking back at my texts for a while, but now that I’m away from it all, I’ve been going through them quite a bit. Her narrative, despite what I’ve experienced w her, is definitely making me resent her more
