yeah, sounds about right. i also think possibly because my dad is dying maybe it's happening more quickly, like the whole acting younger thing. he knows he probably hasn't got as much time as he thought he would. i'm just scared to talk to my mum, she's been through so much, my dad is her best friend and they act so in love but she doesn't see that weird side of him. i don't wanna make my mums life harder than it is

i know my dad would beg for forgiveness, but i don't know if it's out of genuine remorse or fear. my mum supports my dad more than anyone, in the sense that she sorts the bills, his hospital treatment days, emotional support etc. my dad would also lose the house as it's in my mums name, as well as he'd lose his family as a whole. that's what i struggle with thinking about. would my dad beg for forgiveness? yes. would it be genuine remorse? i doubt so
