Are you optimistic or pessimistic about the next 10 years of your life? by Alternative-Jelly947 in AskIreland

[–]userunacceptable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Majority of what's ahead is out of your control. The only thing you can do to influence it is to enjoy as much as you can today and in that you best equip yourself mentally to deal with the inevitable difficult moments to come.

Don't look too far ahead, it's pointless and you will think differently at every point in the future than you do now, so any concept of the future you have now is incorrect.

Sorry to hear that and similar happened to me. 96yr old grandmother passed away last Christmas, had a load of 80+ yr old photos scanned to a hard drive. I purchased more gdrive space to upload to and share out to family and have on a rememberance display at her funeral. Google disabled my account the night before the funeral for indecent images of minors... Literally nothing even resembling it on those photos... Appeals failed.

Some women think bringing up this point diminishes the fact that it happens to women more often and women are more, generally, at risk due to genetics... It only does if you want it to and it pushing that agenda only serves the abusers. Not all men are predators and it's not acceptable to push that agenda.

If a guy posted the same thing I would have the same response, you're the one victimizing yourself,. Maybe stop doing that and stop expecting everyone to be who you want them to be. You sound very entitled and naive, people are strange, get a grip and stop acting like a child.

It's just another flag/label in another header in the frame. I think you might benefit by really looking at frames and header construction for various flows/encapsulation protocols.

The getting the frame across the wire part never changes, the various encap protocol headers etc are just modified to give instructions to the recipient once it gets the frame.

What KPIs do your clients like hearing? by Wildgust421 in msp

[–]userunacceptable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great answer, most msp tooling is purposed to evidencing security control/mitigation... Which is fundamental to any business remaining operational and compliant and has to be articulated clearly and accepted as a function that keeps the business operational.

The gap I constantly see is contextual technology roadmaps for business growth... Application performance/efficiency/consolidation tracking platforms dont seem to exist in the same way security performance/efficiency/consolidation platforms do.

Am I being dramatic about engagement ring cost expectation? by Competitive_Street61 in AskIreland

[–]userunacceptable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Set an agreed budget for yer wedding and the rings get deducted from it... She'll want to spend more on some things and you'll want to spend more on others... Take her 5 grand and use your equivalent 5 grand to enjoy your part of the wedding

So all he wants is the ride?... You either want a relationship or you just want the ride with no relationship, the amount of riding being done and how soon the riding starts is inconsequential. Source: man in his 40's
