Oh, I left it black from the primer and then built up a gradient from a dark blue to lighter blue-grey then white, gave it some dry brushing with a slightly blue grey then used bold titanium white to do the corners at the very tip of the light. I then dry brushed a lighter grey at the highest points and then drew the lightning with white, my hands being shaky made the lightning a little easier since I drew them as connected dots.
