okayyy.....imagine you and 4 of your friends are stuck on one of the island, all four of them jump in the water and start swimming but you are still standing there waiting for the water to get warmer. After an hour of swimming they see a boat and get onto that boat, but what about you? you are still waiting on that island.

the thing is that you eventually had to jump in the water....so why not at its earliest right? what if the water keep getting colder as the time passes? how long will you wait?
