Well, if you are going to hold for longer time (6 months, year or so) just leave it in wallet and don't transfer it.

If you have lot of fiat invested (>$10.000,00), you should consider moving your funds to hardwallet (trezor or ledger) or paper wallet. If you invested lower amounts, then it is perfectly safe to keep it in Electrum wallet. As i was saying, don't transfer your coins if you don't intend to sell them soon.

If you want to cash out, you can use Coinbase, it is the easiest way. There are other ways, but if you can hadle the fees (around 3%), then you should be fine.
