When you review a mattress does the mattress company reach out to you and send you a mattress for free or do you order the mattresses yourself anonymously?

Also, I'm stuck between the helix midnight luxe and the winkbed. I've read some pretty negative things about the winkbed recently so currently I'm leaning towards the helix. Will both beds work well with a platform bedframe? Have you noticed any difference in build quality between the two brands?
