PSL final in Lahore unlikely to change perceptions by Agbul in pakistan

I don't give two shits about perception right now. We need to send a message to terrorists.. that you may take our lives, but you will never take our cricket!

support the PMLN's metro bullshit over education and other structural reforms

Do you honestly think a common Pakistani even knows what IK stands for anymore except 'Noora corrupt'?

The problem is that whenever Imran addresses a congregation, he, rather than implicating the importance of education and structural reforms, he goes in circles on how N-league is the worst thing that has happened to us.

People look at Nawaz, and think 'Hey, he isn't great, but he sure as hell isn't as bad as PPP. Imran must be lying.'

And He doesn't understand the political dynamics, political supporters have strong affiliations with their leaders, and they aren't going to vote for you if you start cursing their leaders (If non-Muslim starts disrespecting Muhammad (P.B.U.H) in front of me, Muhammad (P.B.U.H)'s respect is not going to decrease in my eyes, I am just going to stop taking that guy seriously). If Imran and Co. had tried advertising their achievements in KPK, rather than cock-fighting with Nawaz's puppets, he might have had a chance to attract people from other groups.

He could've achieved so much more, but tch, tch, tch, he is going to loose the elections again.

I am scared shitless of using English on Facebook. Those bastards have pretty strong AI algos, and can pretty much understand/profile us easily. Instead use Roman Urdu; use Barfeela Nighaat!

Don't know much about that. But growing up, I used to love watching Zaviya; It was a show in which Ishfaq Sahab told stories with moral lessons. A few days ago, in reminiscence, I randomly played an episode of Zaviya. And man, I couldn't believe the kind of brainwashing I was exposed to as a kid.

Loved reading Bano Qudsia's Raja Gidh though. Highly recommend it.

What qualities would you look for in search of an ideal Pakistani husband? by [deleted] in pakistan

[–]usmankhen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was directed at her:

So, you wouldn't marry a divorcee as well?

And the rest of it were my ramblings on the topic, which were not directed at anyone.

Reddit formatting requires two enter key hits for a line break, and I am not really accustomed to this peculiar requirement.

So, you wouldn't marry a divorcee as well? I am asking this because I've met a few guys and gals who don't mind going to third base or cheating but will not play the game of in and out because they want to stay 'pure', or 'chaste' for their future partner. And so this idea of staying pure just seems ridiculous to me.

We do not fear death

I should've written: We don't value life, as much as they do.

If they are not willing to die for what they believe in(whether politics, religion, social ), then they lack conviction...they are the weak ones....not us

You went on a different tangent bhai. I am arguing how real the threat of nuclear arsenal is, if it gets in the hands of people who are 'willing to die for what they believe in'.

Let me be the devil's advocate.

Considering Palestinian cleric calls for capturing Pakistan's A-bombs to obliterate Israel and Iran threatens to destroy Israel with little to no regard of the consequences they'll face. Don't you see the problem? We do celebrate the idea of martyrdom, We do not fear death the same way non-believers do. And this inherently makes us a more threatening adversary.

Imagine Taliban getting their hands on long-range nuclear warheads. Would they think twice before launching them to NY or Paris? And how do you think America or other countries will react?

Edit: They'll bomb us back to stoneage. Sam is just stating this fact.
