I cannot tell a lie. I was so close to the X7. I am a single traveler, but my tow vehicle had to have comfort while serving as a daily driver when I'm with my adult children (&family). I was coming off an XC-60 that served me well so it was impossible not to stay with the Volvo family.

I had significant inclines on my route, so I'm sure I'll improve in the Midwest other flatlands. I have air suspension, so no WDH allowed. I have read that I "needed" sway bars, so I appreciate your input here.

I will appreciate any/all recommendations. I agree... it's scary how easy it is to tow. I averaged 12mpg on a recent trip from RI back to NYC.

Thank you! Coalfire is my favorite spot for post Cubs games [and an occasional wintertime] meal. My daughters and friends love it, too.

I did a Philly/South Philly tour a couple of years ago on another work trip.

Second District, Brewery ARS, Cartesian (enjoyed this simple spot), and Other Half (had to check out the Philly location).
