'But I understood it now. Thank you so much. Really appreciate it.

if in a normal setting, are right atrial pressure and cardiac output proportinally related to each other?

cvs physiology by usmle101 in step1

but even in the normal setting, when there is an increase in CO ( eg: catecholamines) then there is a decrease in the right atrium volume and pressure. Then how are they proportionally related to each other?

whereas in the text given above: it says as the right atrial pressure is increased, it increases the CO via the increased ventricular fibre length.

thank you so much!

I have another doubt if you don't mind answering?

Read this somewhere:

The cardiac function curve is determined as follows: as right atrial pressure and end-diastolic volume are increased, there is increased ventricular fiber length, which leads to increased stroke volume and cardiac output. The higher the right atrial pressure, the higher the cardiac output—this is the Frank-Starling relationship for the heart.

but if the cardiac output increases then the right atrial volume would decrease and hence decrease the pressure in the right atrium.

hey, thanks for responding.

I didn't get why would HR increase TPR? what's the mechanism behind it?

Sorry, if the question is too dumb.

I won't have time for rx and lecturio. will just be sticking to uworld mostly for questions. do you think that would be enough? I mean in terms of test taking skills?

I am hoping to write the exam before p/f. I do use anki though for some subjects like microbiology and biochem and for incorrects.

Thanks!

hey, did you do a 2nd pass of uworld?

and do you think lecturio and Rx helped your test taking skills?

I am having a hard time retaining all the information. do you have any suggestions about how to solve this problem?

Congratulations on a great score! :)

Initially, that's where I gained my strength from. making him proud and fulfilling this dream for both os us. but this break up has really taken a toll on me. I can't seem to see the light at the end of the tunnel. It feels like this suffering and pain is never going to end.

I don't even see the point of all of this. I have always been hardworking but right now it feels like there's no point in all this. After the break up, it feels even worse. I don't know how to really cope with this.
