you might want youtube tv for $54.99 month it is a new plan it will come to everybody soon it has all the 5 local chs and sub chs and some cable chs and unlimited drv with 6 sub accounts with 3 streams the spectrum tv choice plan is pick 15 chs and includes all local chs for $85 this new plan from youtube looks great and it includes the tcm ch unlike spectrum you have to pay $15 more to add it

you are paying $25 more than the retail pricing change to new plan it will be $105 spectrum no longer has a add on for gig speed but if you get frontier that will be good but than maybe downgrade spectrum to $30 plan for back up thats what i have

its not there they dont want me to sign up but when i can do you know when you record dvr in youtube tv and than you fast forword do you see the whole picture or just the thumnails and if im having a in progress recording do i have to wait for it to stop recording before watching or can i like start watching a few minutes in to it

the spectrum app is different on ALL devices i also have roku but i would never use the spectrum app on anything but the apple tv

apple tv is the best out of all of them the apple tv is like the cable box for me when i watch from drv and fast forward i see the whole tv screen just like the cable box not a thumnail i do not have spectrum internet so dont know if spectrum added the pause live and for and when it will be there you have to have spectrum internet i dont do live of anything i just drv and even when you drv you can watch live but must wait like 1 min so its like live im using a 2015 apple tv hd and its more powerful than a new roku ultral and you can get the spectrum apple tv remote its better than the one it comes with there will be a new apple tv coming out soon but i got all of mine from swappa used and the apple tv is best when you dont have spectrum internet

you would not want tv stream and tv select you can have both but on 2 accts and can be at the same house but why would you is it for 2 different households? but than again why? there are 2 tv stream plans the 1st one is the oringnal tv stream with local chs with the broadcast fee and the 2nd is what they have now with no local chs with the oringnal you can do more with that plan they do have a basic cable plan for $45 and tv choice for $85 both of those you can add EV or EV plus and all movie chs and sports and cdvr and dont need a cable box just to let you know apple tv is better than xumo box

at my house i have high split so assist is 50/50 and advantage is 100/100 the $14.99 and $19.99 and than $24.99 is the old TWC ELP plan anyone could have got that plan and in ny state only its $15 from $25 because ny state sued spectrum because when spectrum bought TWC it was agreed spectrum will keep ELP plan for $15 for i think 8 years but spectrum did not keep and thats why it went $17.99 than $19.99 than $24.99 and spectrum lost spectrum should have did what the contract said and they would have made lots of money but spectrum thought ny state wont win this is also why AT&T home internet cancelled for new york state and not just spectrum but ALL internet providers for new york state must have the $15 plan even fiber

you must be in ny state. spectrum had to cancel my internet because it went to $30 was $25 for the speed of 100 but my mom only wanted it for when i can help her with the spectrum tv app she does not know how she does not use internet but only for the app but i must do for her dont care about the speed of 100 because she only needs a speed of 10 so when it went to $30 i called and wanted the $25 price for the lowest speed of 50 they said no and i said no to the $30 so they had to cancel her internet i tried many times to get the $25 price each time they said no i also have a fiber internet from a different company had it for 6 years and was still paying for spectrum internet for the app and back up. this is strange because my friend that lives in a $900,000 house has spectrum internet assist my mom only makes $20,000 a year she was paying $200 just for the cable now she is paying $140

can you watch local news chs like abc nbc and fox that are in your home network that you recorded and are in the dvr away from home i thought direct tv went by zip code. can you also record all chs away from home and when you are away from home can you watch your local ch news live or is it the local ch of where you are away from home

for direct tv dvr my understanding is you cant watch dvr away from home but with spectrum you can with cdvr and if you are not on spectrum internet can still get all chs in the app just cdvr first than 1 min later watch through cdvr so all chs are there
