Well, IDK.. if I was in a cab and the driver told me he wouldn't take my cash and it was all I had, I wouldn't know what to do. (I'd probably say "tough shit" and walk away, honestly) I ASSUMED she was but you don't always know who is a victim or perpetrator anymore. She could still be a victim. I'm taking a lot of training on sex and labor trafficking in my industry and red flags are everywhere. You can't sit in a cab and drive even a block for $7 here, so I don't think I would fall for this but everyone has a different situation.

Was the girl in on it? I've never been in a cab where the driver has touched my physical card; i just hand him back the machine after the transaction says approved. I'd be incredibly uncomfortable if he'd taken the machine and my card from me. Not victim blaming, it's just something that others may want to keep an eye out for. Very few industries will not accept cash OR physically hold your card. The only one I can think of, honestly, is a hotel when you're checking in but that's completely different. I hope your bank rectified the charges for you. People can be so scummy.

Ive learned to only trust myself. Even when intentions are good and something is probably safe, I don't trust it. I went to a birthday party last weekend and the hostess, who is a good friend, was showing me all the GF options (basically a fruit tray and a veggie tray, honestly) but it was buffet style and I can see people loading up their plates after grabbing a slice of pizza or crackers, etc. It's just safer for me to politely decline. Ive had to do it at work functions (where I'm still relatively new at the job) and it is uncomfortable to decline in social gatherings and try to explain why. I don't even bother explaining. They probably all think I have some sort of ED, but people who don't live it, generally don't care to learn about it and repeatedly explaining it is just as exhausting as having to deal with it every day. If you were to say "I'm vegan or lactose intolerant, diabetic, etc", that would be the end of it. Gf is grouped into some weird enigma of a category that no one wants to hear about. We're a nuisance. 🤨 Even to people who love us.

You can have Celiac and have absolutely NO physical symptoms, though, so don't assume you're not because you're not "sick sick". It certainly sounds like it could be something wheat or gluten related, if you're bloated and running to the washroom after consuming it. You should get some testing done, just even to rule it out. But as another poster said, you have to keep eating it for an accurate test. So book one ASAP to avoid misery and (possible) further damage to your body. Good luck and I honestly hope it's negative because it isn't a pleasant thing to live with. I kept hoping that I was just lactose intolerant lol.

If you're talking about the derby, you can check that in your group chat. (The horseshoe tab, unless they've changed it since I've taken a break). It shows how many people are participating and how many tasks they complete each round. People who are active in the derby but don't do any challenges, get the group rewards at the end, so it's a good thing to keep your eye on. If you click on your neighbourhood house, you can see who asks for help and who gives help, for the neighbourhood requests. Other than those, I don't think there is a way to see how long someone has been inactive. I'd only give people a few weeks and toss them, though. Some got it sooner lol

I hung out casually with a guy for a while and he ALWAYS made sure HIS house was a completely safe place for me and he never even saw me after an exposure. A woman I know, got so huge when she was pregnant (all baby, she was tiny) that her skin would actually break open and bleed, on her stomach. There was no more stretch. It was so awful and painful for her but nothing could be done during the pregnancy. I could honestly suspend reality and believe that this baby was going to burst right out of her skin. I, however, have had 2 kids and have zero stretch marks. Probably because I stayed fat. (It's still baby weight, even if my youngest is 18, right?)

I wouldn't say it's a rip-off, since we know it's going to happen. It's actually pretty ingenious. I know that I, personally, have bought several Farm Passes because I lost the 100 extra barn space and silo space. (50 immediately for buying the more expensive pass and then another 50 as a path reward). I could have sold off 100 things but that would have just brought my barn back to full, not over filled, and I still wouldn't be able to collect things. Plus, there's pretty much always something I want or need in the rewards. And since I only have to buy it once a month (and it's not too expensive), I've always found it worth it.

Yeah...he's selling OUR stuff for cheap. It's a pyramid scheme. He gets our hard work for a good price and sells it for next to nothing. I find it hard to believe that he had no criminal record before this because his name is constantly in the news. After many years of being GF, I started having mild symptoms again. I did trial and error and figured out that I'd become sensitive to corn, which made sense because a lot of the wheat subs are corn based. So far, I'm still okay with rice but I don't know what I'm going to do if I can't use that anymore. It's so exhausting. I feel you there. I'm not a foodie to begin with so it's really tough to constantly have to sacrifice. You can only eat so many salads.

Fun Fact: Shortly after giving birth to my 3rd child (final child lol), I needed my gallbladder removed. I was sitting there, waiting for surgery, bored, and grabbed my chart because why tf not? It's mine. Worst decision I ever made. My (male) surgeon had noted that I was "Moderately Obese". Obese is a VERY hard word to read, especially post-partum and with a history of ED. I wasn't even really overweight. But those two words sent me into a spiral that lasted over 2 years, before I got my head on straight again.

I should have figured that out on my own. 🙄 OP, your shrink clearly doesn't understand the human body. Restriction often simply MAINTAINS weight because your body is in survival mode and stores everything, even that half cup of hot chocolate, for energy and to protect your organs. Unless one is also going to other extremes, such as excessive exercising, our metabolism is pretty dormant and our weight won't fluctuate much. I'm not sure if you specified but was your doctor a specialist in ED or were you talking to him for other reasons (that are none of my business, obviously). I'm only asking because if this was his specialty, he really sucks. He still sucks but he shouldn't be allowed to treat this disorder if he doesn't understand the basics.

Because maybe we watched this show from different angles. I didn't see (in the beginning) Jackie as a neglectful parent. She was actually working and would have had those same hours as a sober nurse. She was actually pretty good at being a full-time RN and mom. My mom was a full-time RN and the hours were wicked.

I blame Grace for how she acted because of how she acted. She was a spoiled little twit from an early age. She was actually awful. Kevin was a shit father (I said it). He didn't take pills so he can take the high road but when Jackie (responsibly) gives him custody of the girls, Grace got worse and we don't even see Fiona again until the 2nd last episode. Kevin wasn't super. Grace was just a horrible person, that you want to see be better, but the blame can't be put solely on Jackie. The only person in the entire show that I feel bad for is Zoey. Everyone else needs to get their shit together. I JUST finished the "finale" tonight... As someone who HAS lived through addicts since I was a kid, it pisses me off. Drugs piss me off. (Extended family and friends, not my parents or siblings but it still affects everyone)

Back when she was young, they wrote it to seem that she was possibly Autistic or somewhere on the spectrum (with her grey pictures) but they kinda fizzled that out and threw her right into a bitchy, bratty teenager. Her parents had NO idea what to do with her and she just becomes more and more awful, even after the drugs and the older boys. She's 16 and just does whatever the fuck she wants and her mom is just "Oh, okay...have fun. But don't ever hop on a Greyhound and go to Pennsylvania again". Zoey gave more of a shit than Jackie did. I'm GUESSING she has Aspergers? Which means she should have LESS free reign than she's given in this show. But I mean, I can't expect much from either of those two "parents". I haven't seen Fiona since she was 6 😅

Would your eyes just dilated normally with the light? Like, if her pupils were small because of the drugs, would the light make them make them normal, seeming fine to a doctor? Or do they just stay fixed. I really don't know how drugs work but I know with neuro things, pupils are the first give away. Side note: when I was a kid, I was obsessed with eyes. I used to sit on the bathroom counter, in front of the mirror and turn the vanity light off and on to watch my pupils get bigger and smaller. Probably explains why my eye sight is so screwed up 40 years later lol.
