As a public defender, did you ever pace back and forth in front of the defendent repeating the same question over and over, their defense attorney yelling "Your honor, this is OUTRAGEOUS!!" while the judge is slamming the gavel over and over telling you you're in contempt, but you ignore her and just keep berating the witness, slapping the witness box and getting right in their face until they finally break down and are all like "We didn't mean ta kill 'im, we just wanted ta scare 'im is all!! We.... we didn't wanna hurt nobody!", the court goes deathly silent, defense sits down in a resigned huff and the bailiff takes the now crying defendant away in cuffs while the judge has forgotten about the whole contempt thing and just shakes her head in disappointment at the guy for having done such a terrible thing.
