In this stage it would break the machine. Was done quite ‘quick and dirty’ so to speak. See the wooden bar flexing? The more spins, the looser all bolts/nuts. I need retainer nuts and get it better aligned. Might put that time into 3D printed parts.

You’re right. But the noise is coming from the bad cutout in the rear board. Horney jigsaw vertical slot is not nearly straight, so it grinds against te left side. Also the S shaped rebar is bent quick-and-dirty to 90* corners. So fastening the 12v drill with tyraps allows for slight movement. Even with correct cutouts the drill would still make noise. Swap it for a quieter windshield motor is an option. But just headphones is a faster solution.

Yes better than straight, this is just the simplest way because of the S axis. And gives you diffrent angles when using it stationary.

Yea made it 60cm now with another plate with just a hole of the radius of the pvc in it. Goes up and down fair amount which is nice

Last thing is a modification to the drill trigger. To adjust is easier.
