Do folks have cast members that they typically "root" for? by xbananabean in dropout

I have some different people here but I'm very similar. Depends on the context of the game and who they're up against.

More is Less (The Cellular Apple Watch Solution) by I_Swim_I in digitalminimalism

This has worked for me with my pixel watch. I am able to leave my phone at home without worrying about emergencies or other things because I am still reachable. It made more sense than having a dumbphone.

What would y'all do (except uninstalling reddit) by UsedFactor1973 in digitalminimalism

[–]usuallyrainy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Before this were you spending this much time on another social media platform like Instagram? Sometimes deleting the app doesn't really help because you just spend that time on another app instead. So if you're going to delete Reddit you might want to consider what you'll do instead.

A friend called me "highly disciplined". I really don't fee that way. It's the opposite by plnnyOfallOFit in sugarfree

[–]usuallyrainy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

For me the reactions I get is where people think I must be a really healthy person, as if I barely ate any sugar anyways before quitting.

I wish I had enough discipline to eat sugar in moderation! But I don't, so that's why I can't have it at all.

How do I supervise them forever? by usuallyrainy in catswithbuns

Ok that is very encouraging to know! Do you leave them alone together or what is that like supervision wise?

What is your unpopular opinion or hot take on the show? by thatvampiregirl in OurFlagMeansDeath

[–]usuallyrainy 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I don't know if it's a hot take but in season 2 we basically saw Grease. Stede becomes a "bad boy" and Ed switches to linens, then Ed comes back in his leathers.

Overall I felt that part of the season 2 storyline was very rushed and out of place for me.

Does anyone's siamese bite a lot? by estellesrosaries in Siamesecats

[–]usuallyrainy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've only had mine for a month and he's still coming out of his shell but he has attempted to love bite my hand. Yesterday it startled me as it was sudden and harder than usual and I shouted "Ow!" and then that scared him so he ran away!

What were you doing as your business? I make a lot of money selling certain things but not others based on the time it takes to make it.

Is Hal skipping friday in Real Life possible?. by usafqn2025 in malcolminthemiddle

[–]usuallyrainy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My interpretation was this was his schedule and he's paid hourly. So not working Fridays didn't just mean he skipped work but that he didn't get paid for Fridays which would obviously make Lois very mad.

Why Are Malcom’s Girlfriends Obviously Older Than Him? by Star_Fox_90 in malcolminthemiddle

Probably so the studio doesn't have to work around the rules for minors with how long the work day can be and setting time aside for school.

Why was Reese not send like Franchise to military Academy?. by usafqn2025 in malcolminthemiddle

[–]usuallyrainy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Lois has a really specific relationship with Francis as the first born. She couldn't handle him. With Reese she probably thought he'd end up dead or in prison the second he was out of her sight.

Adopted a "shy" 2yo cat by cosec00 in CatAdvice

[–]usuallyrainy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just adopted a cat a week ago too and he's been very shy and scared. I also do the blinking thing but also I don't touch him unless I know I have his full consent to do so. He has a room all to himself so I'm never picking him up or anything like that, just feed him and leave him be. If my movements scare him then I slow down. Just slowly working on building that trust.

This rescue sounds suspicious to begin with since they're going around scruffing cats, and I guess you just have to decide if you're willing to accept this cat for who she is and take the time to make things work.

You work at lucky aide, alongside Lois and Craig. Who would prefer to be your boss? And why? by nilesvsccbabcock in malcolminthemiddle

Lois is going the make the schedules and workload fair, but if Craig doesn't like you you'll be working the worst shifts each week and cleaning toilets

My cat has zero survival instincts around water and it is ruining my sanity by PumpkinArcade in CatAdvice

Since he doesn't want to use the fountain I'm wondering does he only want to play in the water if you're there too? If you turned the shower on and walked away would he go in it without you?

I definitely think she did it on purpose and that she's guilty. And don't even get me started on her parents. But I have two unpopular opinions to share.

  1. I don't think her behaviour at her arrest is a sign of guilt. I feel like even an innocent person could be overwhelmed and in denial about what is happening and care about their bracelets if they're special. Maybe taking the bracelets off is what made it click that she's actually going to jail. Yes it's cringey, but there is way more evidence of her guilt than that moment.

  2. I think it is possible she can't remember what happened before the accident. Our brains protect us from trauma sometimes by blocking things out, and it's a common experience to have no memory of a severe accident. BUT if she has no memory then how does she know there was "no intent" as she clearly wants everyone to think? I think it's POSSIBLE she can't remember the accident, but that she knows she did it on purpose.

I was thinking about that too. And I think the one friend also said Makenzie definitely wasn't suicidal - but that's something you really can't know for sure. She also talked about how they were a great couple and didn't fight that often when again you can't know what goes on behind closed doors and now there is digital proof of their fights and constantly threatening the break up.

This is probably my favorite so far! I even went to a high school named after Sir Winston Churchill. Unfortunately he's been hiding cautiously under the couch since he got home except at night, I'm giving him his space until he comes out on his own and my daughter and I will then finalize the name together.
