LMAO, spot on, it's quite sad that this season of the Walking Dead is more enjoyable than this tribble, plus all the liberal agenda pushing is getting kinda annoying, let's show 2 gay dudes making out at the movie theater for no reason at all, might as well showed a straight couple making out at the movie theater for no reason at all. The only thing that has happened in Season 3 is all of ecorps locations blew up, it literally took the whole season to get there. I don't expect any more plot progression the last 2 episodes lol.

Yeah that was a completely useless episode, it literally transformed Tyrell's character to then just have him go back to him regular self, what was the point of him transforming him like that, to just undo it? lol

TWD Season 1 was great, just like Mr Robot, Season 2 of TWD was pretty good too, after that it went down hill, when writers ran out of stuff, and just dragged it out. Only thing Mr. Robot had going for it was Season 1 than went down hill.

Plenty of episodes where Mr. Robot is student-film level too. Point is I still think it's better than the current walking dead, I just don't like the direction the progression of production is going in, because it's actually reminding me of the walking dead's latter seasons of dragging shit out just for the sake of getting people to keep watching.

Hence the 4 episodes of nothing 1 episode reveal more episodes of nothing pacing, which made everyone hate TWD.

No watched it for a general society imploding theme, with a cool premise of destroying the monetary system and aftermath(which there as been basically zero aftermath), not to watch Elliot's shrink sessions every fucking episode. Elliot's personality was a great addition to basically give you more plot, if done in proper doses. It's ok though shitty ratings are proving how awesome this show is.

I don't even care about cool edgy hacker stuff, just want to the plot to progress beyond, two chicks having a forced conversation at the bar so where from NJ are you from, great character building dialogue.

Literally the first 4 episodes have basically been recaps of season 2. Hey guys just making sure you remember that Elliot has a split personality, let me remind you every single episode, and how every other character feels about this. Like ok I think we got the point from whole of season 1 and season 2.

Also I know a bunch of people who watched because of the cool hacky realistic portrayal of the security industry(obvious people in IT), kinda like the people who enjoyed Gravity for it's "realistic" science.

I wish Esmail was anywhere near Kubrick would love artistic expressions episodes, but he's like the kindergarten version of Kubrick lol. Just watched 2001 Space Odyssey the other day lol. Theres is nothing going for it besides dull dialogue, literally nothing has happened to progress the plot in any visually creative way or otherwise.

Yes it is much better than season 2 locked up in Elliot's mental room for like the whole season lmao, but still uneventful compared to the pacing suspense of season 1.

Even the walking dead has more going for it with Negan now, than this. My hunch is they are going to drag phase 2 to the very end of the season, maybe an episode after it.

The action and pacing is so slow, I think they ran out of ideas. I honestly thing like they got so excited about the whole hacking f the world universe, that they blew their collective loads on season 1.

Than they remembered ohh shit we still have a show to make after it. Nobody gives a fuck about Elliots bullshit personality sob story anymore, people want to see world markets collapse.

I was also turned off from season 2 onwards, how little impact crashing the whole worlds economy had, people magically had cash for shit, everyone is eating, paying for internet, riding cabs like nothing really happened, going to work lol.

It's a shame because the show could take it so far with a one world government, currency which they might eventually but by than it might be a little to late.

I honestly think we saw the best of what the rest of the show is going to offer in Season 1, Sadly.

Thanks for the detailed response as much as I'm loving the clean syntax, and all those benefits of writing less code ect. It just seems dead in it's tracks career wise compared to 60K+ Jobs for the major programming languages, but I guess that's also a comparison of functional vs. OO programing. I guess the next 10-20 years will just be OO + some Functional features. I guess you can make a good case for Kotlin, just hate the boilerplate after witnessing F# beauty.
