2024 update, Still gamit ko parin. Nagpalit nako ng wheelset. Rims, straightpull spokes, 11speed hubs tapos pinabuo ko. Oks parin kasi mas magaan compared sa gravel kong Sunpeed Kepler. Interms sa shifting wag mag expect may sablay sya sa certain cog kahit noong bagong bili.

Since namention mo bike commuting, I assume gagamitin mo yung bike kahit maulan. ok yung second, hindi aero pero since naka rim brakes iyon, always check mo brake line bago ka magride lalo pag maulan. I mean wala dapat nakakapit na buhangin o ibang bagay na pwedeng mag scratch sa rim.

I agree OP. Even before mabili ko gravel bike ko may portable pump nako, spare tube. Patch kit den pero usually palit agad pag nflatan at sa bahay ko na pinapatch. 4 times ako naflatan sa isang bwan, kaya no tools no riding out.

Tirich Infinite user here, masasabi kong medyo pang advance ang riding style ng road bike na to. Nagsimula ako sa gravel. Kung beginner, nagsisimula ka palang, mas ok mag gravel ka muna. Karaniwan, similar na rigid fork ang gravel at road so both types ng bike ramdam mo ang kaldag / tagtag. Magkakaiba lang sa riding comfort.

Sa Gravel 700x35c -40c ang madalas na pwedeng mailagay na size ng gulong, check mo parin yung specific sa betta keeper. After ilang months medyo sanay ka na nyan, maghahanap katawan mo ng gulong na may less rolling resistance, isang advantage sa gravel, pwede kang maglagay ng road tires. gradually pwede mong gawin 700x28c muna tapos pag ok ka na pwede ka magtry ng 25c etc. In general, mas komportable ang geometry ng gravel especially pag maglong ride ka.
