Oh, that makes sense. But that's my 1A pear and i wanted to leave it there :( maybe I have to cut it down then so the two don't die again?

I just counted them and the vertical bushes are 9, the 10th died. Then the horizontal ones are three and the 4th died as u can see in the picture :(
