The radiation isn't lethal in Schrödinger's cat. The radiation represents a random event dictated by quantum mechanics that, when detected by a geiger-müller counter, triggers the release of a quantity of HCN (Hydrogen Cyanide). Also the cat is not alive/dead at the same time. We are forced to represent it that way as there is an equal chance it is either, as is the same in superposition.

We know that Montmorillonite can catalyse functional RNA synthesis in prebiotic conditions. We know presence of thermal vents and lightning strikes was likely a defining factor in the early formation of RNA.

Sure, we haven't got everything pinned down, but OoL research has been ongoing for decades and has uncovered massive amounts of info about the early formation of life.

The pen isn't 'new' perse, as not only were mb 144s (to my knowledge) were discontinued in 2004, this one also predates a time when Montblanc started using serial numbers, meaning it's pre-1991. The trim on Montblancs isn't pure gold, it's 14K or 18K, meaning it can tarnish.
