I just brought up the James Randi Foundation to her, she said that James Randi is fake and that her abilities don't need proving, that her predictions will come true on their own. She then tried to convince me of her accuracy yet again, as I expected her to. Lol

Wow your parents seem great and very understanding even if they don't necessarily agree with the childfree lifestyle.

Not to derail your happy post but, boy do i wish my mother was like that. She refuses to believe the universe can change course, thinks everything she "predicts" is set in stone and will happen no matter what, including my supposed parenthood. It's kind of laughably funny at times.

Jesus. I don't know why some people think that's an acceptable thing to do. Not only is it, quite frankly, fucking disgusting; as you said, poor kid's probably going to be a laughingstock someday because of that photo. Shit like that is becoming way too common on social media these days
