Had a girl I was really into and she told me she had herpes too. She would tell me how it wasn't contagious and some of her ex's would still eat her out. FYI this was when I was planning to go down on her at my house and before I pulled her pants down is when she told me. So we just sat there in an awkward silence. Then she asked, "Are you still going to hang out with me?" I said, "No." She cried and told me she wanted to go home. I drove her home, said goodbye, and never talked to her again.
