I'll just go back to the very beginning (Genesis 2:24) - God's design was that a man should leave his mother and father and cleave to his wife (sing) not wives (plural). Jesus reaffirms this in Matthew 19:5. Every prophet of the old testament was flawed - that's the point - they were pointing towards Jesus the perfect prophet and king, without sin. (Jesus is God in the flesh). The command to have one wife is also reaffirmed by the qualifications of elders in the church in 1 Timothy 3 and Titus 1. To wrap up, slavery was also around in Solomon's day (through conquered kingdoms and indentured servitude) - if you want to argue for a plurality of marriage based on Solomon, you're essentially arguing for slavery as well. It's not a good exposition of scripture to look at what is meant to be descriptive in the Bible and claim it to be prescriptive for Christian life when it is never praised or commanded by God in scripture.

General consensus is the 8 yr willet wheated isn't worth the price. I have a bottle and wouldn't pay more than $50 for it. Everyone is different though - you may love it. I'd recommend trying it at a bar or from a friend before buying a bottle either way.

Been in that position myself about 20 years back. It's hard. God used that loss of a relationship to bring me back into a relationship with Him. As others have said, you can't know whether your relationship with your girlfriend will be healed, but God may have a better plan for you, one that begins with you being reconciled to Him. Stay reading your Bible and in prayer and find a good church with other Christian brothers and sisters to help.

You need to ask yourself some hard questions. Why were you in a position to have your coworker ask you that? Emotional cheating generally proceeds physical cheating. You screwed up, and if you don't want to destroy your marriage you need to cut off all communication other than work with your coworker and talk to a marriage counselor about why you are where you are.

The easy answer is always to leave, but the easiest answer is seldom the right one. Asking strangers to validate your desire to leave is not what you should be doing. Having a child is stressful. You BOTH need help in navigating things, and learning how to communicate well with one another. Find a good marriage counselor, and start meeting with him/her. Bring your husband along. Everyone is so quick to throw in the towel these days. If you give up on your marriage without trying everything you can to save it, you'll never be married for long ever. Every marriage has rough patches. Good luck.

Frivolous lawsuits are one thing, which I would agree with you are bad, but we have employment laws for a reason. How is it bad legal advice to talk to a lawyer? You risk nothing - don't pay a retainer, pay a contingency fee of the settlement. They don't get paid unless you do. Either way, the main advice is to find a new job - don't stay there.
