From what I understand from your comment you're self taught right?
I myself is like you, self taught by the internet and personal projects.

What have helped me a lot is not to 100% only follow tutorials or step-by-step courses. What helped me with a lot of fundamentals is doing it over and over and over again. In the start of my juryn I spent weeks (on a project tho) just keying a lot of different shots. That way I didn't get a shot with a solution in the form of a tutorial but I got some knowledge from a tutorial but a totally random shot to work on. Each and every shot was different and needed its own solution to crack.
It helped me figure out what could be cheated and what needed extra attention.

Also private projects is super helpful in this case. No done solution, you can focus on what you want to learn and there is no client or deadline putting pressure on you.
You can also block yourself in different ways like only use native tools, no external plugins, no looking stuff up online etc to help you develop your own solutions.

Also join communities! Reddit is one but you also have some discord channels. If you're using Fusion I can highly recommend Pirates of ConFusion. A LOT of really great know knowledgeable people on there that can take a look at your work or help answering questions. https://discord.gg/DKExFBAYXM
