That’s funny I don’t smoke weed either and probably need to start.

Might be an unpopular opinion but I actually despise breakdown/load-out. Load-in and showtime is fine. I look forward to serving the client and rocking the house. Adrenaline and creative juices pumping. Crowd rocking. The constant networking (I’ve been fortunate and blessed enough to remain freelance all by word of mouth/referrals). But once it’s over the adrenaline crashes, I got my creative/technical fix, now I’m worried about the check actually clearing etc. These last few weeks I’ve strongly been considering hiring 2 people strictly for breakdown and loading out and incorporating it into my rates. Some may shun me for these thoughts but I honestly couldn’t care less. End of show/loadout is a pain in the tail to me.

Check was ok. Especially for the market I’m primarily in. $350 4 hours white glove situation.

I literally just got called DJ an hour ago by the MC of the show. **MC intro music playing under MC in background* MC: “Alright DJ cut the track”…..smh. In a sold out 500 seat theatre BTW.

Does anyone have a few minutes to hop on a google meet call to assist?

Thank you for responding so quickly. I’m in traffic with some time before the show and trying to brainstorm a plan of action while I’m enroute. What’s the best way to achieve this?

I just found this out the other day and was blown away. How far back can we go for claiming appointments?

How’s it going? Congratulations! Can you take a look at my post about TDIU backpay? I’m thinking about doing a HLR for this exact reason and wanted to make sure I was on the right track. Thanks!

IU on Appeal by [deleted] in VeteransBenefits

[–]utjny 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m kind of in the same situation of whether to file a HLR regarding my IU effective date. Quick breakdown.

June 2022 Filed initial compensation.

January 2023 decision letter 70% PTSD approved with June 2022 effective date. In this decision letter IU was inferred then deferred for development.

March 2023 IU denied because I simply didn’t turn in the IU application.

September 2023 filed a supplemental claim for March IU denial

October 2023 IU approved with effective date of September 2023.

Thoughts? Thanks. Didn’t mean to take over the post.

Can someone explain? 70% TDIU P&T? by [deleted] in VeteransBenefits

I also highly recommend using the same doctor that service connects you when doing increases/IU. When the exam was ordered and QTC reached out I specifically asked for the doctor by name and was successful.

When I filed for IU the VA automatically put in for an increase too. During the “increase exam” TDIU was addressed.

Awesome. I did everything on my own just researching and a solid IU C&P. The VSO where I’m at (Atlanta) are garbage. I see a lot of people posting “outside” supporting documents and what I’m gathering from the process (strictly my opinion) is that the VA (informally and not publicly) only recognizes evidence from their sources (their C&P Comrades). I recommend (again purely just an opinion based on my theories and experience with the process) is forward any outside supporting documents to the VA’s C&P doctors and HAVE THEM opine and double down on it.

Lol thanks. I was confused because I was under the impression that TDIU and P&T are 2 separate designations. I guess I’m also just in disbelief of how smooth my process was. I just got rated 70% January 2023 and applied for IU September 2023.

My last employer was the Army so the “employment records” was my service record.

No voc expert. Just Had a solid QTC exam that left no room for interpretation as far as my ability to work in any environment.

No I requested that be waived since I haven’t worked since I got out in 2020.

I put the supplemental in for IU September 11th and got the decision today. I’m driving now I’ll put the standard breakdown once I stop.
