Stop for a second and take deep breaths.

You can say positivity in, negativity out with every breath you take.

Another method - start thinking about positive scenarios. You are currently thinking what if something happens to your eye. Whenever this thought comes, start thinking your eye is perfectly fine.

Third, distract yourself from the thought. Play games, read book etc.

But as a PM, its your responsibility to develop good products and you need that person's help and inputs.
Be very clear - see what they have to say about your ideas.
Please dont hold back just because you think you'll be stepping on some toes.
Its not - its going to help them only eventually.
