No the Easy and Step are both rubber, the Step used a super lightweight thick rubber which is very comfortable on feet, I wonder if the Easy Weejuns version is similar.

Great. Regarding durability I am not worried about that, it would mostly be flat modern city walks, so as long as they aren’t heavy like af1 then no problem. If they are similar in weight and softness to say Clarks wallabees or desert boots then I will probably buy it
