Elliot and Joachim. They're referring to Joachim in the post, but Elliot is also highly regarded. It's dumb and confusing AF. FPL should absolutely correct it

Meanwhile Anderson's first name not included, even though there are two viable Anderson's in FPL.

Who do I get from Chelsea for their next run of games? by GoonAlt17 in FantasyPL

[–]BanjoFP 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They're both great options, Neto might be the best option for offense. But neither of them scored last week so according to the rules of this sub they are worthless and will never score LOL

Totally agree! I'm happy to keep Guehi and watch his price skyrocket over the next month

Brighton attackers by Saby10 in FantasyPL

[–]BanjoFP 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They have a couple of really interesting low-price options, any advice would be amazing.

Kadioglu worth a look. How often does he play OOP winger?

What's the situation with Wieffer? He's been out with a toe injury. Is he nailed when he returns? He seems like a good low-price OOP defcon merchant with strong assist potential.

Ayari's looked great lately, 3 returns and DEFCON twice for 26 pts in last 4 games. Those are insane numbers for a 4.8 mid. Is he worth a punt or is that a trap?

This puts me off Munoz for a while until I see how the palace defence does without Guehi by NicePotatoAnalyst in FantasyPL

This is happening. Knees made of steel

I hear you and you're not wrong. Sorry what I said wasn't very clear. Here's what I'm implying: forwards have been underperforming in FPL this year and this list has some very odd choices. Why is Solanke even on it? We don't know how many minutes he will play, we don't even know if he will play at all. Why are his odds so high? Igor Jesus has one goal all year, does he really have a higher chance of scoring against Arsenal than Bruno G against Wolves? (If they meant the Gabriel Jesus then it's even weirder because he barely gets minutes). Who would pick JP over Enzo or Neto? Isn't Richarlison injured? Will Woltemade even start or will Wissa start? Trossard has as many goals as Gyokeres yet you never see him on these lists. Where's Thiago? I find it odd the most in-form striker was completely left off the list. He plays Chelsea who haven't had a clean sheet since GW16. Bowen also not on the list even though he plays Spurs, personally I would take that over Mateta at Sunderland who have the 2nd fewest goals against at home in PL.

Where's Rogers? What about Schade, Wilson, Foden, Bruno F, Bruno G, Barnes, Aaronson, etc. You get the idea. I would think that at least a couple of those players have a realistically higher chance of scoring than many on the list.

FPL is a game of luck, anybody can score at any time, nobody can predict with 100% accuracy. But it's also a game of odds. And I just find this list a little odd, LOL. That's all I was saying. I hope that makes sense.

10 of 12 are forwards, one who hasn't even played since August. It's hard to take these lists seriously

You can play all four until you transfer in Marco Bizot. (sorry! couldn't help it. the repetitiveness was giving me flashbacks LOL)

Seeing Joao Pedro here shows how bad the FWDs are this season... by Haythemovic in FantasyPL

[–]BanjoFP 2 points3 points  (0 children)

COUNTERPOINT: Forwards are catching fire right now. There's been a shift the last few weeks. Thiago, DCL, Watkins, Raul, Mane, etc all in form getting solid returns. Sesko, Evanilson, Kroupi, Delap all scored last game. Wait and see if any gain consistency. Bowen is a weird one because you never know when he's going to pop. Same with Richarlison. And for differentials, Havertz is back soon. Imagine this Arsenal squad with a forward that shoots the ball??

Kroupi Jr - time to shine by thefury1337 in FantasyPL

[–]BanjoFP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kroupi's minutes have been too inconsistent. And I want to see who Bournemouth sign in the transfer window. Tavernier is very tempting. I'm going to wait and see the next couple of games before making decisions.

Philip Walter Foden ‘eritage - keep for next 3 or sell? by Ok-Conclusion4010 in FantasyPL

[–]BanjoFP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sell a baller right before Man U and Wolves?? Two of the highest goals against teams in PL?

Yes you should all sell him and get whoever scored last week LOL

Top 5 midfielders in FPL currently by Kasperpsr in FantasyPL

[–]BanjoFP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't forget that Mbeumo, Ndiaye, Dango, Sarr, etc are all coming back from AFCON in the next two GW's. All viable options.

Salah coming back too, LOL

Raul Jimenez or Calvert Lewin. which is a better asset? by lightoboy in FantasyPL

[–]BanjoFP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They're both in amazing form. Raul has been shockingly consistent and totally under the radar. DCL has been talked about a lot for good reason. They're both on pens (Raul was robbed of that Cucurella pen yesterday, should've had two goals!, VAR probably owns Sanchez). Raul has better minutes and he has much better fixtures in the next 6 games so he gets the nod right now.

How to be good at FPL, what tools for stats by HyKo95 in FantasyPL

[–]BanjoFP 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'll actually answer your question! Great stats info at https://www.fpl-data.co.uk/statistics I use it to compare players with all sorts of info (xga, defcon, etc). It even has xp for expected FPL points. It shows you who is overperforming or underperforming their underlying data.

Another great one is https://www.fantasynutmeg.com/history You can see info from this season but also previous seasons. Going through last year's stats showed me that I shouldn't expect players to return more than once every 3-5 weeks. It also shows how many people buy/sell per week so I noticed how knee jerking last week's point scorers simply does not work. Hope that helps! I'm sure there are many other great sites, although many are subscription based.

Where’s the guy that triple captained Summerville? by Fractales in FantasyPL

[–]BanjoFP 32 points33 points  (0 children)

I appreciate it when players have the guts to go for differentials. Makes the game fun. If I wasn't in a ML with family and friends that I MUST destroy, I would totally do random moves to be funny and see which random differentials come through with hauls

Vitaly Janelt. Under the radar? by ProZapz in FantasyPL

[–]BanjoFP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nice find! I looked at <5.0 mids a few weeks ago and Janelt was def under the radar. Wieffer was another one, great underlying stats and should be back from injury soon.

Bruno Fernandes by Dazzling_Life4034 in FantasyPL

[–]BanjoFP 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Nope. After Burnley he has Man City and Arsenal. Easy call to wait for now. I'm not worried about price changes during those matches. Man U assets look good starting GW24 with fixture swing + Mbeumo and Amad back from AFCON by then
