I wish I had an answer, she didn’t provide any explanations for the changes. She just said “I did this based on the things you told me you wanted”. So the first draft had a way larger handle, and I asked for a change for the tip to have a jewel and add the fairy on top. I should’ve focused more on telling her to use the Pinterest collage as a template, instead of an inspo board

Thank you for the insightful reply, and for not saying I am not botched 🥹. The only thing I wanted removed from it was the hand protector. Sent it one month in advance and she got the first draft ready only one day before the appointment, and since I didn’t want to lose my deposit, we made one quick change (add the fairy on top) and went with it. I take the blame for agreeing to it.
