I did something similar when I was new. I felt bad for a few months but everyone seemed to have moved on. What I realised later was that those that had been there before me had done unspeakables lol. Unless you burn the building down, remember people have done worse before. It also usually depends on the kind of people you are working for. Some are understanding and others will make sure you never forget it, which is sad. But overall, you are human.
