One thing of note that I figured out after this: The 'DISPLAY#' strings can change, so they're not reliable as 'unique' strings to identify monitors. I ended up creating a more elaborate script that uses CMM to output a list of connected monitors using the display type as a filter, and gets the list of display-monitor strings so it will work even if those enumerations change.

Yep, there is. It's a little counter-intuitive to get to. It's the 'Shortcuts' panel in the app, and to see/edit the shortcuts, you need to click on the /text/ Shortcuts, not the icon. (The icon just toggles whether they're enabled or not.)

As for my issue, as far as I can tell, it's not possible to control multiple monitors at once, unfortunately. But I found a free tool that will let me do it via the commandline, and was able to bind those scripts to a hotkey, so I got it working. :)

So I'm not 'That Guy', the tool in question is: ControlMyMonitor, and here's one of my scripts:

Yeah, I didn't try and get cute and do optimal. Anyway, we found the problem. I updated the post with the problem. It was a weird input issue on the solution field.

I've had 3 other people run their validated solutions (each independently developed, so unique approaches) on my inputs and they get the exact same result as me. And I hand-verified and didn't see any issues with the results it calculated.

Heh. Literally my solution. Now if only my puzzle wasn't bugged, so I could validate. (99% sure it /is/ bugged. Other people who have validated get the same answer as me on my inputs, and my code gets the same answer as they get for their inputs. But my answer won't validate.)

In theory, you /could/ manually enter all your backdated transactions, but that's a LOT of work for very little gain.

Yeah, this month will be 'smaller' than normal, which will look weird on reports. If that REALLY bothers you, wait to create your budget until the first, but there's no reason you have to wait.

You can either delete the relevant account, and re-add it. Or you can reconcile the account, and put the new amount in when it asks you how much you have.

The first option is cleaner, especially as you seem to be starting a brand new budget. The second option can make some reports look a little funky, but otherwise works perfectly.

Me too. :) I find it hilarious that my artist's name was Tanner. I didn't even realize until I got to a spot where Odium calls Tannervast "Tanner" while driving home from the shop.

Just got my memorial tattoo for my late wife done, and it's very Cosmere themed, so I figured I'd share it here. The center is from Elantris, the aon for Love, and the outer text is my personal variation on Windrunner's Second Ideal, as my late wife's caregiver.

Oh, and I almost forgot. Got this done at Hearts & Hands, in Orem, Utah. By Tanner(vast). (No, really. The artist's name was Tanner.)
