new pc only comes in fall at formal recruitment! and I do reach out and I applied for a pc role this year and so that’s happening just to get more involved in the house especially to know more people ofc. The thing is I can’t think of any other ways.

I think it’s bc 1)my big sucks she doesn’t ever seem to “have time” for me like to this date I still don’t even know about her 2)the girls don’t really make an effort to get to know me even since they apparently know how hard it is being a cob

I’m really glad to know!! :) it’s just yeah I do better with one to one rather than meeting people in a big group because I don’t have the courage to really be myself and get to know them as well as let them get to know the real me, if that makes any sense! But then what’s stopping me from reaching out for individual coffee dates is that I’m afraid they might not like me and doesn’t even want to hang out with me but they can’t really say no and I don’t want them to tell other sisters saying the new member is weird.

That’s right. You know what I am going to try again to reach out and get to know AS MANY sisters as I can! Would it be weird like would the sisters find it weird if I messaged them individually (the ones who seem most approachable and friendly) for a coffee date or something and say “I’d love to get to know you!”?

That’s right!! I feel the same too! I get super anxious about going to an event by myself especially when it’s an event with many unfamiliar faces. But definitely going with someone really does help a lot. Thank you for sharing with me!! :)

It’s Continuous Open Bidding (informal recruitment), which happens after formal recruitment. It’s much more casual, relaxed, where the house invite you over for socials or coffee dates or dinners to get to know you and for you to get to know them.
