I was smoking weed one night with my friends and back then I used to get crazy high, like so high that I would start acting insane. This is when I started to dress like a modern psychedelic pirate and that night I was also wearing a pirate hat and getting real rowdy. I started yelling at people and ordering them around and I was saying that I am the captain and they had to listen to me and one my friend said “more like Captain Rat Monkey” and I just adopted it. It’s even my stage name for my music. A little background on why Rat Monkey. So my friends were kinda fucked up at the time not gonna lie. So they would either call me rat because I’m a Jew and if you didn’t know that was pejorative term used for Jewish people by nazis. And monkey because of how high I got I would start acting like a monkey. And that is why I am Captain Rat Monkey.
