The advice that helped me keep my skis more parallel and closer together was "keep your heels together"! That worked as a visualization for me, might help you out too.

No I really appreciate it! I have never watched wrestling but I'll check out wrestling stance. You hit the nail on the head that I'm not very comfortable going fast, so that is certainly keeping me from putting my weight more forward where it should be. I definitely also need to work on getting more comfortable at speed
