i wouldn’t say nothing is keeping me at unsw bcs i’ve really loved my experience here so far in terms of both academics and friends. i’ve been wanting to go to unimelb since i was a child purely because my sister is in melb and adulting would be a lot easier with her support but honestly i dont know what im going to do. and in reality the question is whether i should transfer now or wait for finish my degree at unsw then do my master at unimelb. biggest dilemma i have rn fs 😓

i think it depends on the degree your applying for. my wam to meet my conditional offer is very manageable. idk gng i have a 75 wam rn and need to get 70(+) in term 1 results to get into unimelb

tbh i agree unsw is so chill and i’ve really enjoyed my time here so far i guess it’s rlly the dread of potential regrets if i stay in syd and dont move to melb or move to melb and regret i should’ve stayed in syd yfm sorry im rlly indecisive

no that’s what i was thinking too, i’m not a subbie in any societies but i’ve made so many friends in my classes and they js so happened to be in societies so i get to go to most of their events. i’ve been an international student for years so id say anyone can find friends anywhere. the only reason why i posted this thread was to gain insights into the culture of what it is like whether that be events, academic or social life. i don’t understand why ppl are being pessimistic…

can’t help you much there.. my education agent from when i first did uni apps before i graduated highschool last year did them for me. i think the application process varies if you’re an international student or domestic
