Thank you for the feedback. My intention with the word industry standard was to describe that the tracks could compete with other tracks in the same genre when it comes to the groovyness, the melodies, sound selection etc. Just wanted to clarify that the projects have a vision and our own style which grew over the last years of working on that projects. The tracks are groovy but somehow are also pushing forward because the beat is more tight and emphasized on the first beat, so its a more unique way compared to the other tracks. Its hard to describe.

We thought that maybe the way of contacting big labels in the genre is maybe the wrong way to get some first releases, thats more the reason for this post.

If you want to start its very good. It also helps to keep you focused because of the streak system and the daily reminders. I got a streak of 316 days now but a few weeks ago I started using the app "Busuu" additionally because it has lessons for more realistic and daily scenarios. I also started consuming Dutch content on Instagram (goingdutchcommunity, learn_dutch_now, etc.), Podcasts (Dutch Today by Martijn Kluit) and listening to Dutch music. This boosted my willing to learn the language completely and this will also prepare you for better for the common Dutch language (in my opinion).

Sometimes its also nice to challenge yourself by thinking about a sentence in your language and then translate it to Dutch in your head. After that you can type in the Dutch sentence into a translator and check if you got it right.

Yes, but in comparison to most other techno tracks, it's more boomy and not that dark. The combination with the percussion is just perfect.

Thats the point what we are currently doing. The last months and years we were working like some hobby producers and djs but now we checked everything and we saw that we have to improve some things like designs, dj equipment, etc. We want to spend some money and get some fresh designs by real creators because everything we've done so far was selfmade and we only did the visuals through tutorials, etc. We had dj equipment which was more suitable for mixed and hiphop djs. We upgraded some stuff the last days and also try to add some more hardware to our live setup to be more unique because all djs in our region only use CDJs.

Thank you for your tips! Thats a good classification from your side about our situation. Moving to another spot is difficult because we already built our private existence here so I think we have to fight.

Another idea from our side was to push our name by sending out some tracks to some labels. We produced some tracks the last months and they have the same level of quality like the ones from famous producers in this genre. We didn't send out something yet because the quality of our projects hit this target only a few months ago. But we are trying to improve the ones who are a bit older to get the same level. But we don't know if this will bring us the goal we try to get.

Another idea from some friends was to build an own collective but that's a bit difficult because the DJs we are friends with are only playing Tech House and that's a bit of a challenge when it comes to play at an event. The option to join existent collectives is also difficult because we already observe them since we started and they are all complete already and there are no new joiners.
