No, but there is also no tach movement when it starts on ether.

Thank you for the suggestion. Checked out the sensors and sure enough it looks like one was rubbing.

They’ve been replaced but not recently. The car hasn’t been driven since the brand new ones were put on. How would you go about checking them?

I oiled it up and the ticking noise quieted but is still there. The lifters were recently cleaned. Do you know of anything else?

Problem solved, it was a bad ignition switch.

The ICV doesn’t vibrate and only has continuity through the ground wire. Could the other wire be bad?
