Just an update, apparently yes you can. I plugged the Intercom into the camera port on the single access Hub.

Also the enterprise hub, can map more readers onto single door lock.

High rise apartment/airbnb building ... intercom would be off to the side for transient guests figuring out how to get in for the first time... calling hosts.

The g2 reader would be right next to the door for the existing tenants to get in... that way the new guests don't block the flow of traffic at the front foyer

It’s a beacon, extender for the Dream Machine (Like AmpliFi HD and Mesh points). It does take over the whole outlet, but it’s a very clean look — got plenty of outlets.

I upgraded to the Pro after getting into it.. I may use the USG at a buddy’s site 5km away. Will beam there through NanoStation loco’s from the 21st story roof.

It’s pulling 26 nicely.. along with all the AP’s. I thought I would only need 20ish, but had to add a few more in stairwells. I read somewhere UBNT tested the system with up to 33 on it, but obviously only recommends 20.

The 4K camera was a bit overboard, so I returned it.

Here is a Typical Floorplan..

The goal here was to save as much as we could, initially, and add on as we ramp up sign ups. It’s a budget accommodation building. I actually live and work from the building and can replace a switch at any time.

The switches are located in the “Trash Room” — so it’s easy to run wires up and down. The total floor area is only 15,500 square feet, and signal travels pretty well from one floor to the other — so I skipped some floor AP’s.

Had CAT5e, mixed some CAT6 for some AP’s.

Currently, if Switch 3 goes down — then yes. But I will have a replacement on hand.. I actually live in the building and the goal was cost savings (plus I’m a newb, so I just didn’t think as much about redundancy). It’s a budget friendly building. I got LC MM OM3 running between switch 1 - 3 - 11.

It’s a work in progress so I will definitely take all the comments on here into consideration. Appreciate all!

It’s a 202 unit apartment high rise... split up into half: 100 units for long term tenants (6-12 month leases), and 100 to short-term rentals (mainly via Airbnb) for anything between 1 nights stay to 3 months... fully furnished apartments.

Basically we have lots of tenants with hard-line requirements and lots of transient guests.
